Staircase Revitalisation

This project focused on the transformation of a central architectural feature—the staircase, which serves as a focal point within the home. For this project, we carefully selected the Kalahari Hobnail carpet in the captivating Desert color, a 100% wool Berber carpet supplied by Tapi Carpets. This luxurious and durable choice not only added a touch of warmth and comfort to the staircase but also promised enduring quality, setting a new standard for elegance and functionality.

To ensure the utmost in comfort and longevity, we paired the carpet with a rubber crumb underlay, adding a plush and indulgent underfoot experience to the stairs. Additionally, new grippers were expertly installed to secure the carpet in place, guaranteeing a seamless and secure finish that exuded quality and refinement.

To provide a polished and neat finish against the spindles, the stairs were bound on one side, adding a touch of precision and attention to detail that underscored our commitment to excellence.
